ARRAIGNMENTS

BURBANK, Leita D, 19, 33 Chase St, Hyannis; armed assault to rob, March 15 in Sandwich.  Co-defendant with ROGERS Jr, below.  Nollo prosequi.   According to police reports, a man asked the management of the 7-11 to call police on his behalf.  He reported a woman he did not know began rifling his pockets on Main Street in front of Puritan's.  When he objected, she demanded "cigarettes, give me what you have."  A tall man with her then displayed a black-bladed knife.  Another man with the two, known to the victim intervened on his behalf and the couple proceeded down the street.  Police were aware of the couple from a trespassing incident at Ways Center News the previous day.  The victim identified the accused from police photos.  She and her accomplice, ROGERS Jr. were arrested.  Burbank was arraigned in Barnstable District Court the same day and charged with larceny from a person, and assault with a dangerous weapon, the knife.

EDWARDS, Paul J, 41, 811 Rte 28 Rd, S. Yarmouth; breaking & entering a vehicle/boat at daytime for felonious purposes; vandalizing property; shoplifting by asportation July 17 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for August 12.

ISSLER, Shannon, 34, 108 Beacon St E, Yarmouth; armed assault to rob (a handgun), April 29 in Yarmouth.  Nollo prosequi.  Indicted and arraigned in Superior Court.

ROBINSON, Jeremy J, 21, 185 Stevens St, Apt 2A, Hyannis; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute; failure to stop/yield; June 30 2010 in Barnstable.  Nollo prosequi.  Indicted and arraigned in Superior Court.

ROGERS Jr, Scott L, 21, 28 Orr's Ave, Hyannis; larceny from a person, assault with a dangerous weapon, March 15 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for August 25.

ROGERS Jr, same.  Armed assault to rob, March 15 in Sandwich.  Nollo prosequi.  New charges taken out to keep in district court per ADA Patterson -- see ROGERS Jr., above.

RUIZ, German, 43, 40 Ivanhoe Rd, Yarmouth; assault & battery; assault with a dangerous weapon; assault, June 8 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for August 25.

GOYETTE, Todd G, 40, 2444 Meetinghouse Way, W. Barnstable; OUI liquor, second offense; leaving the scene of property damage; marked lanes violation, December 16 2010.  All counts dismissed.

GRAY, Kenneth W, 39, 77 Winter St, Hyannis; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, June 19 in Barnstable.  Guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  One year house of correction, six months to be served, 29 days credit.  Balance suspended until January 16 2013.  Continued for payment, probation until January 16 2013.

KENDRICK, Brandon E, 23, 95 Rte 130, Sandwich; assault & battery; intimidating a witness, April 15 in Sandwich.  Dismissed.

PERRY, Richard C, 40, 29 Roberts St, New Bedford; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon; assault & battery; threatening to commit a crime, February 9 in Barnstable.  Jury trial.  Assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, assault & battery, dismissed.  Assault with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime, guilty.  Six months house of correction, suspended.  Continued for payment, probation until July 18 2012.

THOMAS, Desiree R, 55, 785 Rte 28 Apt A3, S. Yarmouth; two counts, Class E drug possession, April 21 in Yarmouth.  First count, admitted to sufficient facts.  Continued without a finding, continued for payment until July 18.  Second count, dismissed.
