League of Women Voters of Falmouth to host candidates' night May 2 [Political Calendar]

Candidates for selectman to debate

The League of Women Voters of Falmouth is sponsoring a Falmouth candidates' night on Wednesday, May 2 at 7  p.m. at the Morse Pond School.  From 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet the candidates.

The formal program will begin at 7:30 p.m. At that time, all candidates for Town Meeting and candidates running unopposed for town elective offices will introduce themselves.

WCAI's Mindy Todd will moderate a discussion between the three candidates for selectman in Falmouth.  A question and answer period will follow the discussion.

This year, the League is trying a new more informal format--a round table discussion between the candidates for selectman, Paul D. Brodeur, Douglas H. Jones and David R. Moriarty.

The program will be broadcast live and rerun on FCTV.
