The Chatham Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday this summer from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 1652 Main Street (Rte 28), Chatham at the Local Color Art Gallery & Ocean State Job Lot.  It is the ideal place to find fresh produce, baked goods, and homemade creations.

The dozen or so vendors that cover the area bring their ripest strawberries, freshest baked breads, and most sweet smelling soaps with the hopes of selling their wares and spreading the news of their businesses.

Many of the goods for sale come from home-based companies, such as Pure Goodness' soaps, Cape Cod Beach Stone Jewelry's necklaces, and Chef Teaman's homemade butter. Some cafes and restaurants, such as Pain d'Avignon and The Box Office Cafe, entice potential customers to their stores by bringing samples of their best products to the market: homemade granola, raspberry streusel, and vine-ripened tomatoes for example. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to find it here, and then some.

Pets and children are welcome, and be sure not to miss all the free samples!
