Truro Police 07/2-07/08: lost/found dogs, injured seal, two arrests

During the past week--from Monday, July 2 to Sunday, July 8, the members of the Truro Police Department logged 165 calls. 

Of those calls, there were two motor vehicle accidents, two dogs lost and two dogs found and one report of vandalism/malicious destruction.  Truro officers assisted the Wellfleet police, Truro fire, Truro beach commission and the National Park Service.  There were sixteen fire/rescue calls, two reports of incapacitated persons, 33 traffic stops resulting in 15 violations, well-being checks, one injured seal report and reports of suspicious activity.

Two arrests were made during this period:

Warren Joseph Roderick, 63, of 20 Great Hollow Road in North Truro, was arrested on Friday, July 6 at 8:39 p.m. after violating an abuse prevention order.

Mark Steven Rose, 40, of 12 Atwood Road in Truro, was arrested on Friday, July 6 at 11:12 p.m. during a domestic disturbance call and charged with assault to murder, assault and battery, three counts assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and three counts reckless endangerment of a child.
