Former Massachusetts governor and current Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney touched down in Hyannis Saturday at Barnstable Municipal Airport between high price fundraisers in the area. Fresh from a fundraiser on Martha's Vineyard, Romney was headed to Osterville for a second event.

The Martha's Vineyard fundraiser, according to the LA Times, was a clambake featuring a $50,000-a-ticket VIP reception. The Osterville event was a reception thrown by Bill Koch.  Following the Koch event, Romney hopped back on a plane, this time headed to Nantucket.

Before hitting the Cape, Romney was hitting up donors on Long Island, according to the Times. welcomes thoughtful comments and the varied opinions of our readers.
