Kudos for Wildcare and Teresa Martin

"Auks in the Storm" earns reader's praise

Editor's note: The following letter to the editor was received last month in response to Teresa Martin's story about Wildcare's work following the February Blizzard named Nemo.

Dear Editor:

I am both a volunteer and a board member at WildCare in Eastham. Teresa Martin did an article on the many seabirds who have been brought to WildCare as a result of the blizzard and I wanted to compliment her on a wonderful article titled 'Auks in the Storm'.

In an age of sound bites and quips her article was in depth and offered lots of great information about these pelagic birds who were stranded on land from Nemo.

Thanks to Teresa and to Cape Cod Today for a great piece about a great organization!!
