Truro Police Blotter: 3/18/13 to 3/31/13

Truro police activity for 3/18 through 3/31, 2013.

During the two-week period of Monday, March 18, 2013 through Sunday, March 31, 2013, the officers of the Truro Police Department responded to 271 calls for service.

During that time there were three reported larcenies, five reports of suspicious activity, one domestic disturbance, one report of vandalism, one reported threat, one reportedly incapacitated person and one noise complaint.  There was also one reported dead bat and a report of bones found on the beach.

One-hundred and twenty motor vehicle stops were conducted, resulting in twenty-five violations. 

There were five arrests made during the two week period:

  • On Sunday, March 31 at 8:33 p.m., Paul D. Roderick, 50, of 37 Conwell St. Apt. 3, Provincetown was pulled over on Route 6. He was placed under arrest and charged with OUI-liquor, speeding and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On Wednesday, March 27 at 9:14 a.m., Brandon Elliott Turner-Idoria, 33, of 41 Mill Pond Road, West Yarmouth, was pulled over on Route 6. He was placed under arrest and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense and an extended load violation.
  • On Wednesday, March 27 at 9:51 a.m., Urbano R. Siqueira, 29, of 54 Melbourne Road, Hyannis was pulled over on Route 6. He was placed under arrest and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a miscellaneous equipment violation and an outstanding warrant.
  • On Tuesday, March 26 at 10:47 p.m., Chengsum Marvin Daley, 29, of 10 Seashore Park Drive, Apt. R, Provincetown, was arrested on Shore Road during a domestic disturbance call. He was placed under arrest and charged with assault and battery.
  • On Monday, March 18 at 9:07 a.m., Noah Elden Shenk, 38, of 28 Old County Road, Truro, was arrested on Shore Road during a restraining order violation call and charged with violation of an abuse prevention order.

There were three motor vehicle accidents:

  • On Saturday, March 23 at 9:09 a.m. on Route 6
  • On Thursday, March 21 at 12:30 p.m. on Commercial Street in Provincetown (minor accident, TPD responded)
  • On Thursday, March 21 at 6:41 p.m. on Tillie Way
