Cape Cod Healthcare announces urgent care services in Sandwich

Stoneman Outpatient Center now open seven days a week

Earlier this month, Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC) announced new urgent care services in Sandwich with the opening of the Stoneman Outpatient Center in Sandwich.

“We’re here to provide urgent care close to home for Upper Cape residents,” said Dr. Robert Davis, Medical Director of Stoneman Outpatient Center Urgent Care Services. “If you arrive home after work and your child has a sore throat, if you cut yourself and need stitches, or if you have something else that needs prompt attention, but does not rise to the level of an emergency room visit, Stoneman Urgent Care is here for you.”

Stoneman Outpatient Center is located at 2 Jan Sebastian Drive in Sandwich, off Route 130. The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The center is staffed by emergency room-trained physicians and nurses who will treat sore throats, earaches, coughs and sinus infections and lacerations. They will also provide such services as x-rays, splinting and casting, tetanus shots, IV medications and much more, according to CCHC.

The center will host a Community Grand Opening and Health Fair on June 1. See the calendar here.
