Truro Police Blotter: 7/15/13 to 7/28/13

Lots of "suspicious" activity in Truro over the past two weeks
Truro Police Department activity for the weeks of 7/15 and 7/22.

During the two week period of July 15, 2013 through July 28, 2013, the officers of the Truro Police Department responded to 306 calls for service.

Between July 15 and July 28, there were 23 fire/rescue calls, five triggered alarms, one fire, one incapacitated person and one restraining order served.

Truro police officers pulled over 83 drivers and issued 24 citations.

There were three wallets reported lost, one loose dog, one lost dog and nine animal complaints. Annoying phone calls were reported on two different occasions and there was one report of trespassing and two disturbances.

Things looked mighty suspicious during the two weeks--there were 12 reports of suspicious activity, six suspicious person and five suspicious vehicles reported in Truro.

There were 4 arrests:

  • On Sunday, July 28 at 8:46 p.m., Robert E. Orrall, 58, of 1095 Lynnwood Blvd. in Nashville, TN was placed under arrest during a disturbance call on Heather Lane and charged with assault and battery.
  • On Saturday, July 20 at 1:37 a.m., two people were arrested during traffic stop on Route 6.  Ninarose Stuchlak, 27, of 46 Hideway Lane in East Wareham, was charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lane violation. Alan C. Trible, 28, of 825 County Road in Pocasset was charged with assault and battery.
  • On Tuesday, July 16 at 5:12 p.m., Edward Falconer, 52, of 40 Quinaquisset Ave. in Mashpee, was placed under arrest on Route 6 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an HTO (habitual traffic offender).

There were 8 motor vehicle accidents in town:

  • On Saturday, July 27 at 10:50 a.m. on Truro Center Road
  • On Saturday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. on Shore Road (property damage only)
  • On Wednesday, July 24 at 7:03 p.m. on Route 6
  • On Tuesday, July 23 at 11:29 a.m. on Route 6
  • On Saturday, July 20 at 3:28 p.m. on Pond Road
  • On Friday, July 19 at 2:20 p.m. on Bayside Hills Road
  • On Thursday, July 18 at 4:17 p.m. at Route 6 and Castle Road
  • On Thursday, July 18 at 10:11 a.m. on Route 6
