Nauset High School percussion ensemble performs "Stinkin' Garbage"

A loud time was had by all
A wonderful (and LOUD) finale to Nauset Regional's concert last night. Video screenshot.

A dozen garbage cans can make beautiful music

The young percussionists from Nauset High School are first rate

Last night the Nauset High School Concert Band percussionists grabbed a dozen gallon aluminum cans and let loose with Ed Argenziano's "Stinkin' Garbage". This garbage band classic left the Nauset Regional Middle School auditorium in shock and awe and sweet beats.

Just watch the video below and imagine what would happen if one of the dozen student percussionists faltered.

My grandson Will is the fifth drummer (with the big hair) from either end.

We can all be justifiably proud of the professional level obtained by these local students as evidenced by the effort of the Nauset High School Music Department.

Tonight's concert will feature the First Encounter Jazz Ensemble at the Nauset Middle School in Orleans at 7pm.
