Who's your pick for the most outstanding citizen in Orleans?

Nomination forms due by March 14

The Town of Orleans is looking to acknowledge one of its own as an outstanding citizen and contributor to the town. Nomination forms are now available for the 2014 Orleans Citizen Recognition Program.

According to the town's website, good citizenship is the only criteria. If you are a resident of Orleans and know of a neighbor who should be recognized for their positive impact on the town, a major contribution to the town or its citizenship or their volunteering efforts, you are encouraged to download and nomination form.

Nomination forms are available online here or at the Town Hall and the Snow Library. The deadline for turning in your nomination is Friday, March 14, 2014.

The winner will be announced at the upcoming Annual Town Meeting on May 12, 2014.

Questions about the nomination process may be directed to Margie Astles, Administrative Assistant at 508-240-3700 ext. 311.
