New Water Quality Committee members wanted in Dennis

Applications available online and at the town hall

The Town of Dennis is seeking new members for its Water Quality Advisory Committee.

The committee is currently chaired by Suzanne Brock and meets the second Tuesday of each month. There are nine members who each serve three year staggered terms. According to the town's website, the terms of two members are expiring on March 31.

The Dennis Water Quality Advisory Committee oversees issues pertaining to the quality of fresh and salt water in town.

Interested residents may fill out a volunteer form online here or at the Dennis Town Hall, 485 Main Street in South Dennis. In addition to the water committee, residents may also choose other areas of interest on the form. Forms are maintained by Dennis Selectman as a talent bank for available and future openings on existing committees and boards and special committees and task forces that are assembled on an as needed basis.
