Let go your Legos for Yarmouth Public Libraries

Library looking to launch Lego club this summer

The Yarmouth Public Libraries are looking to launch a Lego® club this summer. To get their collection started, they are asking for your unwanted and unused Legos®.

Legos® of all shapes, sizes, colors, types and themes (except the large Duplo/Mega Blocks) will be accepted.

Through the remainder of April and during the month of May a Lego® Club donation bin will be available in the Children's Room of the South Yarmouth Library, 312 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth.

The Legos® donated in April and May will be used to start the Lego® Club this summer. A strong starting collection is necessary as most if not all Lego® Clubs require participants to use only the library's materials and leave their own Legos® at home.

Lego Clubs® are popular at many public libraries across the country and here on Cape Cod. They appeal to children of all ages and interests from budding engineers to artists. Building with Legos® requires a variety of skills from STEM to creativity.
