Crosswalks to be repaved in front of Barnstable County Superior Courthouse

Work to begin at 5 a.m. on June 24

The Town of Barnstable announced Monday that the two crosswalks in front of the Barnstable County Superior Courthouse on Route 6A in Barnstable Village will be resurfaced on Tuesday, June 24.

Weather-permitting, the work will begin at 5 a.m. and continue through until 5 p.m.

During work hours, traffic will be restricted to one lane. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

Both lanes will open up at 5 p.m.  If it rains, the project will be rescheduled for Wednesday, June 25, during the same hours.
