Committee to Elect Leo G. Cakounes to host Pizza Party on Sept. 27

Barnstable County Commissioner candidate to host family-friendly event at Harwich farm

The Committee to Elect Leo G. Cakounes will host an end of summer "build your own" pizza party on Saturday, September 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cakounes family farm at 1601 Factory Road in Harwich.

Dough, tomato sauce, cheese and traditional toppings will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their favorite toppings to share. Hot dogs, water and soft drinks will also be available.

There will be a hay ride tour of the farm followed by a bonfire at dusk.

The suggested donation for this family-friendly event is $15 per adult and $5 per child. Previous supporters and donors are asked to attend as a thank you.

Cakounes (R-Harwich) is running for Barnstable County Commissioner. Cakounes is running against Mark Forest (D-Yarmouth) in the upcoming election. The winner in November will join County Commissioners Shelia Lyons (D-Wellfleet) and Mary Pat Flynn (D-Falmouth) who are both serving until 2017.
