The Osterville Village Library recently announced the start of a new discovery group. Beginning in February, OVL will launch a puppet production experience. The group is open to children in grades 4, 5 and 6.

The group will meet one afternoon per week and will learn all aspects of producing a professional puppet show. Participants will learn critical thinking through the evaluation of possible stories for a show, backdrop and prop creation, acting skills, sound effects, production and promotion.

The experience will culminate in a live puppet performance at the library.

Pre-register is required by Saturday, January 31. To register your child, contact Gail Nemetz at 508-428-5757 or [email protected]

The Osterville Village Library is at 43 Wianno Road in Osterville.
