Provincetown street sweeping regs start up 5/26

If you are in the zone between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. you'll be ticketed and towed

The Town of Provincetown announced that street sweeping regulations will go into effect on Tuesday, May 26. Monday through Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., parking is not permitted along specific sections of Commercial Street.

On Monday, parking is not permitted at the intersection of Commercial Street and Bradford Street to Kendall Lane. On Tuesday, parking is not permitted from Kendall Lane to Bangs Street. On Wenesday, parking is not permitted from Bangs Street to Pearl Street. On Thursday, parking is not permitted from Central Ave to the Provincetown Inn.

Violators parked in one of the areas indicated above will be subject to a minimum fine of $100, according to the town. Their vehicle will also be towed and they will be responsible for the associated costs.

The seasonal street sweeping regulations will remain in effect until Thursday, October 8.
