Dennis roads scheduled for resealing May 21 & 22

Chip seal to be applied to more than 30 roads throughout town

The Town of Dennis this week announced the start of a resurfacing project for several of the towns roads. The resurfacing will be done by Sunderland-based All States Asphalt. The project is scheduled to start on Thursday, May 21 and continue into Friday, May 22.

All work will be done weather-permitting. All State, according to the Dennis Engineering Department, specializes in chip sealing. Sections, and in some cases the entire length, of more than 30 roads will be resurfaced. A list of roads to be chip sealed is available on the town's website here.

Although there may be some short delays, residents will have access to their homes at all times.

Until the resurfacing is done, residents are asked to park at least 3 feet off the edge of the road to allow for the machines to pass safely. Residents with lawn sprinklers are asked to set them to operate in the evening so the roadway remains dry during the day.

Questions may be directed to the town's Engineering Department at 508-760-6166.
