New sidewalk, drainage and curbs for section of Sea Street

Motorists should expect delays in Dennis Port

The Town of Dennis announced the start of road work on a section of Sea Street in Dennis Port. The project includes drainage installation, sidewalk and granite curb for the section of Sea Street between Route 28 and Upper County Road.

Weather-permitting, the work will start this week. MCE Dirtworks, Inc. will be doing the work.

The road will stay open through most of the construction, the release said. Should work facility a closing of the road, traffic will be detoured onto Telegraph Road. Access to driveways may be limited at times. 

Motorist should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
