People for Cats: Meet Lucy

5 year old black-and-white short-haired female
Meet Lucy, People for Cats' "cat of the week"

Lucy is a cute little black and white domestic short hair female. This 5-year old has a shiny black coat accented by white around her neck, splashed under her nose and sprinkled between her eyes. She is relatively new to the shelter and is quite a shy little girl, but she has shown herself to be gentle and wanting to interact with people. It is just taking her a while to learn to trust this new environment she is in. Lucy came to PFC when her previous owner’s living situation changed and they could not take her along. They did report that while she was shy with strangers she was very friendly with her family. So if you are seeking a sweet, quiet little kitty to be your companion on these cold winter nights why not come in to meet this pretty girl.

If you would like to visit with Lucy or some of our other equally lovely cats, come in to the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment.
