Chatham Police thank public for staying in during storm

Cautions motorists about black ice

From Chatham Police at 8:30 p.m.:

Despite heavy snow accumulation and blizzard conditions from the storm yesterday, no serious incidents were reported. This was in large part due to people staying in and not driving when they didn't have to. Thanks to everyone for helping to keep everyone safe. Please continue to exercise caution when driving as black ice can develop in isolated areas without warning.
