Yarmouth Police investigate robbery of 60 year old man

Assaulted, robbed in laundry room at Swan Pond Village

Statement by Yarmouth Police Department:

YARMOUTH POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY OF 60 YEAR OLD MAN

On Tuesday January 10, 2017, at 12:16PM, Yarmouth Police Officers and Firefighters responded to the laundry room on Alewife Circle in Swan Pond Village for a report that a person had been assaulted and robbed.

The victim was located at the scene and transported by Yarmouth Fire Department ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital where he was treated and has been released.

A Yarmouth Police K9 Unit, Yarmouth Police Detectives, and members of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene.

The male suspect fled the scene and is unknown.
