New England Patriots wide receiver Malcolmn Mitchell visited Chatham Elementary School yesterday as part of his "Read with Malcolm" initiative and CES' own ongoing programs.

Read with Malcolm is a youth literacy initiative supporting Share the Magic Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the benefits of reading and book ownership among students in Title I schools and underserved communities.

Chatham Elementary School Principal Dr. Robin Millen told Cape Cod Today news, "...that this was a culminating event for our Grateful for Spring Spirit Week scheduled because the students achieved our school's "SHARK" goal.  The goal is part of our positive behavior intervention system (PBIS)  and promotes "spotting" students that are Safe, Honest, Accepting, Responsible, Kind, and Successful.

We were able to offer this learning opportunity with Mr. Mitchell thanks to generous donations from The Art of Charity Foundation, the CES PTO, Chatham Bars Inn, and both the Chatham Police and Fire Department Associations."
