Rain overspreads the region this afternoon and continues tonight. The rain may be heavy at times especially near the south coast, where an isolated thunderstorm or two is even possible.

Today
Showers likely, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 45. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 3am, then showers likely. Patchy dense fog. Low around 38. East wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Wednesday
A chance of showers, mainly before 7am. Patchy fog before 7am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 47. North wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 35. North wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.
