Re-Paving of Route 6 in Eastham begins Monday

From Salt Pond Visitor Center to Samoset Road

From Eastham Police:

On Monday, April 10, work crews will begin paving on Route 6 between the Salt Pond Visitor’s Center and Samoset Road. This work is to repave the southbound travel lane which was excavated last fall to install water main pipes. During this work, Route 6 will remain open, however lane restrictions will occur. Please allow extra time if travelling through this area and be cautious of construction crews working. Police officers will be assigned to the area to help keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as the work on the water system continues.
