Route 6 Night Work Between Exits 10 and 12

Expect detours this week between 8 p.m. and 2:30 a.m.

From the Provincetown Police:

What is a Delineator?

It sounds like a made-up word, so I had to look it up!

Mass DOT has advised us that there will be planned closures on Route #6 this week between Exits 12 and Exits 10 between 8:00pm and 2:30am. This work project will involve the removal and replacement of missing/damaged median delineators on in the Towns of Orleans, Brewster and Harwich. While all emergency vehicles will be allowed access as needed, all other vehicles should expect delays as detours on surface streets will be marked.

What’s a media delineator you ask?

It’s those floppy reflective plastic stanchions separating the lane.
