Job #1 - Domestic Violence Shelter Director - Mid Cape Full Time: The Shelter Director is charged with managing the day-to-day operations of the domestic violence emergency shelter. The Shelter Director supervises and trains advocates and volunteers to provide compassionate advocacy, and support services as appropriate, and is responsible for setting the tone and culture of the shelter. Bachelor’s Degree required. Must have supervisory experience. Must work well with persons of varied sexual orientation, racial, ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic background and individuals who are differently abled. Must have knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence, including impact of witnessing violence on children, an analysis of domestic and sexual violence as well as an understanding of tactics of individuals who use power and control and violence in intimate relationships. Must have knowledge of how to work with individuals who have experienced trauma. Must be able to multi-task and manage stressful crisis situations. Background checks required. 72 hours of initial sexual and domestic violence training (provided by Independence House) is required, as is ongoing training. Must be self-aware, committed to non-judgmental environment, and understand issues of privilege and oppression.

Job #2 - Business Office Manager - Upper Cape Full Time: The Business Office Manager manages and coordinates the medical and health services. The BOM communicates with department heads, organizes records of the facility and handles resident billing. This role works closely with residents, families, insurance companies - including Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security, and internal departments. Qualified candidates have at least a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, long-term care administration or health administration. Previous experience in the business office of a skilled nursing or other healthcare facility is preferred.
