...Torrential Rainfall Affecting southern Barnstable County...

At 342 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported minor flooding
across portions of Cape Cod...namely the Harwich area over the
southeast Outer Cape.

Reports of 1 to 2 inch rainfall amounts within an hour resulting in
roads becoming inundated and in some cases becoming barely passable.

Moderate to heavy rain continues to sweep across the region.
Additional rainfall amounts up to an inch are possible which may
exacerbate the flooding over the area.

Locations impacted include...
Barnstable, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Sandwich, Harwich and Mashpee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses. Avoid low lying
areas near small streams.
