Job #1 – Recreation Director – Upper Cape Full Time: Plans, organizes, coordinates and supervises community recreation programs and activities for children and adults. Oversees daily operations of the Community Center and outdoor recreational and athletic facilities and coordinates and schedules the use of the facilities. Works with Parks Department for maintenance and repair needs. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and plans for their maintenance and replacement. Recruits, hires, trains, supervises and evaluates staff and volunteers. Prepares and administers the department budget. Bachelors Degree in recreation management, physical education, or a related field; five to seven years of experience in recreation management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. $33.15-$43.26 per hour plus benefits.

Job #2 Outreach Family Support Worker- Mid Cape Full Time: Provide Intensive outreach support with DCF referred families working toward the goal of reunification or maintaining family or placement stability. Organize, facilitate and supervise community and clubhouse activities and family visits, including transportation. Provide continual family strengthening services to assigned families which may include, but is not limited to, supportive counseling, skill building, role modeling, transportation to and from appointments, improving self-esteem, education around household organization, financial management, basic health, and child development. Meet with DCF workers and lead agency staff. Meet regularly with FSP team and Southeast Area Coordinator of the Family Support Programs. High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience working with youth; Associates degree preferred. Requires knowledge of limit setting and behavior management skills, child development and family systems. Requires the ability to work flexible schedules and some weekends. Requires a reliable vehicle.
