The Provincetown Police department was kind enough to share this story of a fire in town last night...

Last night in that heavy wind and rain the Provincetown Fire Department responded to a report of a possible chimney fire.

The fire which started on the wall expanded in the wall to the attic space.

Team Red had the fire controlled and secured the house in just over 40 minutes from arrival.

Fire Chief Michael Trovato had command at the scene. welcomes thoughtful comments and the varied opinions of our readers.
