Every day he goes to work, he sees an empty frame on the wall that used to hold Johannes Vermeer’s The Concert, one of 13 paintings stolen from the Gardner on March 18, 1990.  Amore has been on the hunt for those paintings, and as he puts it, in an effort to make the haystack smaller. One day, he vows, he will find the needle! This special lecture will be about that theft and the investigation with its Cape Cod connections. The 7:00 p.m. program will be preceded by a short reception with light appetizers and a cash bar starting at 6:00 p.m. and will take place in a unique, historic, and iconic Cape Cod venue.
