Music and Movement Group at Hyannis Public Library

First Monday of each month...

Join us for a “Music and Movement” group occurring at the Hyannis Public Library, in collaboration with the Families United Network program, of Cape Cod Child Development…..!!!

Monthly, Mondays “Music and Movement” group, April 2nd, May 7th, June 4th, 1:30pm-2:30 pm, Miss Ellen

Join us for a music and movement group for children birth to five years of age, with caregiver participation. Come have fun and learn how music covers all areas of development, it has numerous benefits! Music and movement helps children to use gross motor skills (the larger muscles) fine motor skills (the smaller muscles, hand-eye coordination), and because repetition helps children to learn, the songs can assist with language development as well. Cognition (problem-solving, cause-effect) and social-emotional development are also an important part of music and movement!

Funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant of the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and by Cape Cod Child Development. Registration is not required for this group, for more information, please visit our website at www.cccdp.org or call us at 508-775-6240 x 512
