At 614 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Franklin to Providence to near Coventry to Richmond to Charlestown to near Westerly to 6 miles northwest of Montauk Point. Movement was east at 65 mph. Winds up to 45 mph will accompany these storms. Locations impacted include... Providence, New Bedford, Brockton, Fall River, Warwick, Cranston, Pawtucket, Plymouth, Taunton, Weymouth, East Providence, Barnstable, Woonsocket, Dartmouth, Cumberland, Randolph, North Providence, Franklin, Falmouth and West Warwick.
