The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 6 AM EDT Wednesday. * Location...the south coast of both Rhode Island and Massachusetts which includes the Cape and Islands. * Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times. * Timing...Through 6 am Wednesday morning. * Impacts...Motorists traveling overnight into early Wednesday morning should be prepared for visibility one quarter of a mile or less at times. Drive with extra caution. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile, for at least 3 hours. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
