Nauset High Graduate to Become Next Principal

Christopher Ellsasser graduated from Nauset in 1982

Nauset alumnus Christopher Ellsasser will be the next principal of Nauset Regional High School.  Superintendent Thomas Conrad announced the appointment in a statement released today.

Ellsasser, who holds an Ed.D. from the Teachers College at Columbia University, graduated from Nauset in 1982.  He currently serves as Academic Dean at The Cambridge School of Weston, a private school that bills itself as "a progressive, coeducational, day and boarding school for grades 9 through 12, and post graudate."  The school was established in 1886.  The school serves 332 students starting at grade 9.  238 attend as day students and 91 attend as boarding students.

Dr. Ellsasser's previous positions included an Associate Professorship of Education at Pepperdine University and director of studies at Lawrence Academy in Groton.

Ellsasser will succeed Eduardo MacDonald, whose contract was not renewed.
