He currently serves as Academic Dean at The Cambridge School of Weston, a private school that bills itself as "a progressive, coeducational, day and boarding school for grades 9 through 12, and post graudate." The school was established in 1886. The school serves 332 students starting at grade 9. 238 attend as day students and 91 attend as boarding students.
Dr. Ellsasser's previous positions included an Associate Professorship of Education at Pepperdine University and director of studies at Lawrence Academy in Groton.
