The Barnstable County Human Rights Commission (BHCRC) was established by the County Assembly of Delegates in 2005, to address discrimination, equal rights, and equal access in Barnstable County.

The Human Rights Commission comprises 9 Commissioners, appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, and representatives from each of the 15 towns which make up the County, and the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
