Barnstable Police Release Names of All Victims in Cotuit Crash

Two men are dead, woman in critical condition...

From Barnstable Police:

On July 28, 2018 at 12:10 am the Barnstable Police Department responded to a head-on motor vehicle accident on Route 28 in Cotuit. As previously reported, the accident resulted in two fatalities and a third person in critical condition.

The operator of the 2000 Toyota sedan has been identified as 22-year-old Mickey A. Rivera of Fall River. Rivera was traveling east on Route. 28 at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second operator, who was traveling west in a 2012 GMC SUV, has been identified as 32-year-old Kevin P. Quinn of Mashpee. Quinn was transported to South Shore hospital with severe injuries where he later died.

A passenger in Rivera’s car has been identified as 24-year-old Jocelyn Goyette of New Bedford who remains hospitalized in a Boston hospital in critical condition.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.

The Barnstable Police Department extends its sincere condolences to the families and victims of this tragic accident.
