Orleans resident wins $1 million “Hold ‘Em Poker” pot

August 6, 2018 – Wayne Murphy of Orleans is the second $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “World Poker Tour $1,000,000 Hold ‘Em Poker” instant game.

Murphy chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (less tax withholdings). He purchased his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 178 Cranberry Highway in Orleans. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.

There are three additional $1 million prizes remaining in the “World Poker Tour $1,000,000 Hold ‘Em Poker” $5 instant game.
