There remains the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, mainly across the interior. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat, but localized flash flooding is also possible along with a low risk of an isolated tornado.

Increasing clouds, with a high near 79. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Tonight
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 80. Southwest wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
