Yarmouth Police: Woman Dead of Apparent Overdose

Discovered in makeshift tent under power lines...

WOMAN HAS DIED

At 10:16 AM this morning, Friday, August 17, 2018, members of the Yarmouth Police, Fire, and Natural Resources Departments responded to a report of a woman suffering from an apparent overdose in a makeshift tent under the power lines located in between Higgins Crowell Road and West Yarmouth Road in West Yarmouth.

First Responders provided advanced life support and transported the woman to Cape Cod Hospital. Despite all efforts, the woman did not recover.

Family members have been contacted and the case is being investigated by the Yarmouth Police Detective Division and the Massachusetts States Police.
