Agway and Bonide Donate $2,500 to Local Groups

Garden clubs and non-profits reap harvest...

Dennis -- Agway of Cape Cod, together with Bonide Home and Garden products, recently donated $2500 to local garden clubs and non-profit organizations.  The funds were raised during The Bonide Charity Weekend held in May. Throughout the weekend, Bonide dedicated fifty percent of their product sales at Agway’s three Cape Cod locations to the non-profit groups.

The recipients included Taylor Bray Farm, Sustainable Cape, Wellfleet Gardeners, the Village Garden Club of Dennis, the Garden Club of Brewster, the Garden Club of Chatham, the Garden Club of Harwich and the Garden Club of Yarmouth.

Agway is a third-generation, family-owned business with locations in Dennis, Chatham and Orleans. Bonide has been trusted since 1926 as the leader in providing the best possible products and solutions for home, lawn, and garden pest problems. The donation was made possible through the James H. Wurz Jr. and Edward T. Wurz Sr. Foundation.
