From the Family Pantry of Cape Cod...

Thanksgiving is a time for us to give thanks, join family and friends to share in the traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings. Well some of our neighbors here on Cape Cod are not able to afford the holiday dinner. The Family Pantry of Cape Cod helps one in ten families on Cape Cod during the holidays.

Those in need may register October 16, 2018 through November 15, 2018 to receive a dinner with all the fixings at The Family Pantry of Cape Cod. You have to be a pantry client to participate and must register by November 15, 2018. If you are not a client yet come on in and talk to our volunteers to see if you qualify. Pick up for clients is on Sunday Nov 18, 2018.

The Pantry will be distributing 500 dinners. The meals are assembled and distributed by a group of volunteers.

The Pantry gets the bulk of the turkeys from the Greater Boston Food Bank, but the Food Bank cannot guarantee they will have all that is needed so donations are needed!  500 turkeys will be needed this year and the Pantry is asking people from the community to donate medium size turkeys. It would also be nice to offer a pie with each dinner, people from the
community can donate a FROZEN pie if they are able. Donations may be dropped off up until November 12, 2018 at The Family Pantry Location Queen Anne Road, Harwich Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m, Wednesday s 10-Noon, Thursdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., 5:00– 7:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 am - 12 Noon

You may also make a financial donation on our web site at http://www.thefamilypantry.com/Donations
