The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Dukes County in southeastern Massachusetts...
  Barnstable County in southeastern Massachusetts...
  Southeastern Bristol County in southeastern Massachusetts...
  Southeastern Plymouth County in southeastern Massachusetts...

* Until 1045 AM EDT.

* At 652 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  flooding...particularly in urbanized areas. Up to two inches of
  rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  New Bedford, Fall River, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dartmouth, Falmouth,
  Brewster, Marion, Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Tisbury, Aquinnah,
  Yarmouth, Wareham, Sandwich, Bourne, Fairhaven, Westport, Dennis
  and Mashpee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of roads and underpasses will occur. Do not drive through
flooded areas. Find alternate routes.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. Do not
drive through roads or underpasses that are flooded. Avoid flooded
areas near small streams and move to higher ground immediately.
