New Horizons Band of Cape Cod Presents Annual Holiday Concert

December 10th in Yarmouth

A free concert from the New Horizons Band will feature holiday favorites and classic concert band literature.  The Band of more than 45 amateur musicians is directed by Alex Pendleton who is the Chairman of the Music and Performing Arts Department at D-Y High School.  Pendleton has been working weekly with the group of performers in preparation for this performance which will also include several student musicians from the D-Y High School.

The New Horizons Band of Cape Cod was founded 10 years ago for people who are 50ish and older.  The Band is for those who have just started to play an instrument and want to learn in a group setting and for those who used to play but haven’t in some time.   The ensemble practices year-round and holds three annual concerts in the Spring, Summer and this Holiday Event.

Admission to the concert is free.   Non-perishable food items and cash donations are accepted for the Family Pantry of Cape Cod.
