2000: Islander ferry slams into dock injuring two passengers

On this day in 2000, the Cape Cod Times reported that the Steamship Authority ferry Islander struck the docks in Woods Hole the day before.  According to the daily, two passengers sustained minor injuries and there was minor damage to the ferry as well.

When the Times' story was published, the Coast Guard was investigating the incident and had yet to discover a cause of the crash.
