Osterville Village library announces upcoming technology workshop on using the CLAMS catalog system January 4th 2019.

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming program “Searching with CLAMS Catalog: How to Request items & more!” If you have trouble navigating our CLAMS website or placing holds for books this class is for you. You’ll learn to create your online CLAMS library account, request items online and through the Commonwealth Catalog, and more!

On Friday, January 4th from 2:00-3:00pm, teens and adults welcome. Program will take place in the Maine Meeting Room of the Osterville Village Library. ###

 

Osterville Village library announces upcoming food health and energy bite demo program on Saturday, January 5th from 10:00am-12:00pm.

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming program “Learn How to Live & Eat Safely in a Toxic World.” Join Mary Principe, RN, Wellness Professional as you learn what to look for when you buy or make your own food, an energy bite demo after the presentation, and more.

On Saturday, January 5th from 10:00am-12:00pm, all ages welcome. Program will take place in the Maine Meeting Room of the Osterville Village Library. ###

 

Osterville Village library announces upcoming art talk series by The Printmakers from January through February.

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition and lecture series by The Printmakers from January through February. Join us on January 6th for Print "Collecting and Appreciation" talk by Leslie Kramer, January 19th  for "Etchings with rusty water and Monowhy?" talk by Joyce Zavorskas, and on February 9th for “Discovering the many ways of Woodcut printmaking and carving” talk by Alice N Galick.

OVL is hosting this program as part of a series. The upcoming dates are: Sunday, January 6th at 1pm, Saturday, January 19th at 11am, and Saturday, February 9th 11am. ###

 

Osterville Village library announces upcoming class on using the library to assist with getting your college textbooks on January 10th 2019.

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming program “How to Get your Textbooks Almost for ‘Free!’” Are you a college student? Or perhaps taking AP classes in high school? Join us in learning how to use your library catalogs and its resources to try and borrow your textbooks for the semester for free or for little cost! We will show you all the possible resources free to use with your CLAMS library card!

On Thursday, January 10th from 5:00-6:00pm, teens and adults welcome. Program will take place in the Maine Meeting Room of the Osterville Village Library. ###

 

Osterville Village library announces upcoming yoga and health program on Saturday, January 12th from 1:00-2:00pm.

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming yoga and health program “Healing Yoga Deck.” Is self-care on your New Year's Resolution list? Learn why and how it's essential with the NEW Healing Yoga Deck!  Led by Olivia H. Miller, MS, RYT, and the author of 9 wellness and spirituality cards, this class includes learning and practicing healthful deep breathing exercises, stretches, plus simple and effective mindfulness meditation techniques. No previous experience with yoga or exercise necessary!

On Saturday, January 12th from 1:00-2:00pm, all ages welcome. Program will take place in the Maine Meeting Room of the Osterville Village Library. ###

 

Osterville Village library announces upcoming coaching program on Saturday, January 12th from 10:00am-112:00pm.

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming program “Giddy Up: How Coaching & Horses Get You Moving Forward Fast.” Coaching is a partnership that takes you from point A to point B by tapping into YOUR brilliance.  And, if you don’t know what point B is for you, coaching can help you define that, too. Would you like to know more?  Come and learn from Helen Kosinski, Professional Certified Coach and owner of Better Than Ever Coaching.  She will: Clarify what coaching is and is not, Share the benefits of working with a coach, Help you decide if coaching is for you, Answer your questions about coaching, and do a short coaching demonstration give a taste of what coaching really is.

What’s with the Horses? There are some very special horses right here on Cape Cod who can help be part of your coaching team!  Partnering with Helen AND a horse can really get you moving forward fast!  (She is sorry the horses won’t be joining her this evening; however, she will explain how horses can support the coaching process!)
