Ruffled Hens is one part string band, one part chamber ensemble, happily blending to create a unique presentation of traditional music from the Celtic countries and the USA. Denya LeVine, on fiddle, ukulele and vocals, is a Wellfleet musician who performs on Cape Cod and beyond. She’s entertained solo and with folk and ethnic bands for 40 years. Pat Nash, of Eastham, is a guitarist, percussionist, singer and step dancer. She plays in multiple Celtic groups and sessions as well as being a mover and shaker with the Outermost Contra Dance series in Wellfleet. Laura Geiges, of Wellfleet, is a classical cellist who has gone Celtic, thanks to Denya and Pat. She performs regularly at The Well Tavern Celtic music sessions in Wellfleet and with her classical trio. For more information: [email protected] (774) 383-3961
