Wareham Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Another Person with a Knife

Initial reports said it was a gun but turned out to be a knife...

Wareham Police arrested Ryson Joseph, age 30, of Wareham on Monday, January 14th after he allegedly threatened another person with a knife.

Officers responded to a disturbance, located on Camrado Drive, around 1:15 p.m. on Monday after having received calls that a man was threatening others with a gun. Police say no firearm was actually located at scene.

Ryson Joseph was placed under arrest however by Officers Christopher Smith, Matthew Donovan and Calib Larue after he allegedly made threats to another individual while armed with a knife.

Mr. Joseph, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threats to commit a crime.
