“A Dance Journey” with Adam Miller”

This three-part seminar will survey the history of dance, from Louis XIV and the origins of ballet, to the flowering of modernism, to post modern forms in the US and abroad.
Adam Miller is a director, choreographer, and teacher. He danced with Pennsylvania Ballet and was a Principal Dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet, Hartford Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. He has danced many major classical roles, as well as works by major choreographers of the 20th Century. He has been a guest teacher at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and Boston Ballet, among many other engagements. He is the founder of the Provincetown Dance Festival, and was an Artistic Director of the Cirque Du Soleil’s Kooza and Saltimbanco.
