Dennis Announces Automated Parking Kiosk at Sesuit Harbor

Pilot program begins Saturday...

From the Town of Dennis:

Beginning on Saturday, May 25, 2019, the Town of Dennis will begin conducting a Pilot Program using Automated Kiosks for the collection of daily parking fees in the public lots on both the East and West sides of the Harbor. Visitors to Sesuit Harbor that do not have a Harbor Parking and/ or Trailer sticker will be asked to use automated parking kiosks to pay the daily parking fee.

If a vehicle is parked in either lot between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm daily, a parking receipt must be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard. The daily parking fee for the West lot will be $10 per vehicle or $15 per vehicle with trailer while the fee for the East lot will be $10 for either.

Parking enforcement will be conducted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. If a vehicle is in the lot prior to 8:00am and said vehicle will remain there beyond 8:01 am, a parking receipt must be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard. While the kiosks will only accept CREDIT or DEBIT cards, staff will be able to accept cash and issue hanging placards. Vehicles that display either a 2019 parking decal issued by the Town or a current hanging placard issued by staff shall be exempt from this requirement. Failure to comply with these parking requirements will result in a $50.00 citation.

Upon completion of payment, you will receive a parking receipt that must be DISPLAYED ON THE DASHBOARD of your vehicle. Harbormaster Department staff will be available at both public parking lots to assist with use of the Automated Kiosks.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this pilot program, please contact the Harbormaster Department at (508)760-6159.
